The simple answer is yes. Fasting in Ramadan is a separate obligation from Taraweeh prayer. If a person keeps the fast with sincere intention from dawn to sunset, the fast is valid even if they do not perform Taraweeh. However, Taraweeh is a highly recommended Sunnah prayer کیا تراویح کے بغیر روزہ ہو جاتا ہے that brings great reward and spiritual benefits during Ramadan. While the fast is complete without it, offering Taraweeh increases blessings and strengthens one’s connection with Allah.
