- Clean the drum unit:
- Turn off the printer and open the front cover.
- Remove the drum and toner assembly carefully.
- Separate the toner cartridge from the drum unit.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the drum surface. Avoid touching it directly with your fingers.
- Clean the corona wire:
- On top of the drum unit, you’ll see a green or blue tab.
- Slide it from left to right several times to clean the corona wire.
- Make sure to return the tab to its original position before reinstalling the drum.
