We're trying to streamline our workflow between the warehouse and delivery trucks, and someone suggested using pallets that work the same on both sides so our loaders don't have to flip them or check orientation. I've been looking at the reversible plastic pallet design where both faces are identical and load bearing, which sounds perfect in theory. But I'm wondering if there's any hidden downside. Do they cost significantly more than single face pallets? Are they harder to clean because debris can get trapped between the two surfaces? Also curious about weight, we have a driver who complains about lifting anything heavy so lighter is better. Our loads are usually around 500kg max so we don't need heavy duty monster pallets. Has anyone made the switch from standard to reversible and regretted it? Or is it one of those things you never go back from once you try it? Real feedback from someone who's used them for a few months would be great before I place a big order. Thanks.
