A full stack developer is a software developer who works on the front end and back end of a software application or website. The front end consists of elements that users can interact with, like layout, buttons, forms and navigation. The back end is responsible for server-side operations, application logic, databases, APIs, and other "behind the scenes" components. A full stack developer can use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, server-side programming languages, databases, and development frameworks. Full stack developers are also able to participate in projects, starting from interface development and extending to server and database implementation, as they are aware of several layers of an application.
