I keep finding myself back on the same Dubizzle listing for a 2016 Quattroporte S that's been sitting there for weeks because the price just dropped again and it's now firmly in "this is either the deal of the century or a complete financial suicide mission" territory and I genuinely cannot tell which one it is. The photos make it look like a million dirhams with the tan leather and the massive trident on the grille and I can already picture myself gliding down Jumeirah Beach Road feeling like a proper grown up but then I remember my neighbor had a Ghibli a couple years back and his infotainment screen would randomly go black for days at a time and the dealership just shrugged and said it was an Italian personality trait. I haven't even gone to see the car in person yet because I'm afraid if I hear that Ferrari built V6 fire up I'll lose all rational thought and sign whatever paper they put in front of me, and I know the smart thing would be to arrange a proper Maserati Pre Purchase Inspection Dubai before even entertaining an offer but a part of me is worried the inspector will find so much wrong with it that the dream will die right there in the parking lot. I guess I'm just trying to figure out if anyone here has actually bought a high mileage Trident and managed to keep it on the road without selling a kidney or if I should just close the browser tab and go back to looking at sensible Japanese sedans like a responsible adult.
