Mounting Google Drive and OneDrive side-by-side in Finder – what actually works smoothly in 2026?

Man, I feel your pain with the official clients clashing. For me, the cleanest solution turned out to be using a multiple cloud storage manager app like CloudMounter. I grabbed it a while back when I got fed up with separate sync folders taking over my SSD, and honestly, it just mounts Google Drive, OneDrive, even Dropbox if I want, as separate drives directly in Finder. No more fighting for sidebar space or duplicate files locally. Everything behaves like they're plugged-in externals—drag, drop, preview, edit without forcing full downloads. It's not perfect during spotty Wi-Fi, but way less hassle than the native ones side-by-side. Just my two cents from daily use.
