I had a small bump in a parking lot last week and now the front bumper on my 2016 A6 has a crack and some scuffed paint, nothing major but it's annoying me every time I look at it. The dealer quote was ridiculous for a repair that seems pretty straightforward, so I'm hoping to find an independent shop that does good work on Audis without the crazy markup. A colleague mentioned something about an Audi accident repair and body shop service that uses factory paint matching systems, but I haven't seen many reviews from actual customers. Has anyone here had their A4, A6 or Q5 repaired at a non dealer place and been happy with the color match and panel alignment? I'm not expecting perfection, but I also don't want it to look like a patch job from ten feet away. Any recommendations would be a lifesaver.
