I’m interested in how quality management practices are being handled in embedded systems and electronics development. With complex hardware, firmware, testing, supplier management, and documentation involved, maintaining consistent processes can become challenging. ISO 9001 Certification provides a framework for managing quality, documenting processes, identifying risks, handling nonconformities, and supporting continual improvement. For embedded product teams, could an ISO 9001-based quality management system help improve development consistency and reduce issues during testing or production? I’d be interested to hear from engineers and quality professionals about their experience with quality management systems in embedded projects.
