How Accurate Piping Estimation Supports Better Water Systems

I am very interested in water systems and how proper planning can help conserve water and improve infrastructure. In my work, I often do piping estimation for projects like water supply lines, drainage systems, and irrigation networks. I notice that when piping is not correctly estimated or designed, we can face big problems too much loss, leaks, or inefficient water distribution.I believe that good estimation of pipes and fittings is not just a construction skill, but also a form of environmental responsibility. If we design with precision, we use less material, reduce waste, and ensure more sustainable water systems. You can also see the type of work I do here: https://tylerestimating.com/piping-estimating-services/I would like to ask the community: how do you think water education (like through Project WET) can incorporate real-life estimating practices such as piping estimation? Do you know any educational projects, school programs, or activities that teach youth or professionals how to plan water systems accurately? Your ideas and experiences would help me a lot.
