GLC 43 AMG brake dust is absolutely relentless, is there a ceramic pad option that actually stops the carHad my 2019 GLC 43 for about six months now and I genuinely love the way it drives and sounds but I'm losing my mind over the brake dust situation, the front wheels go from looking clean to looking like I've been rallying through a coal mine within about three days of normal Dubai driving and I'm tired of spending half my weekend with a wheel brush and a bucket trying to keep them presentable, I've heard the Akebono ceramics cut the dust by like eighty percent but I'm also reading mixed reviews about whether they have the same initial bite as the OEM semi metallics when you're merging onto SZR at speed and I'm not trying to compromise safety just for cleaner wheels, called a place in Al Quoz that advertises Mercedes premium brake pad service in Dubai and the guy on the phone was actually helpful and said they stock both the OEM Jurid pads and the low dust ceramics and he didn't try to upsell me on rotors I don't need which was refreshing, I'm booked in for next week and still on the fence about which compound to go with so if anyone's running ceramics on an AMG 43 or 63 and can tell me if the pedal feel changes noticeably or if it's just a minor difference I'd really appreciate the real world feedback before I commit.
