For competitive gamers, the fact that GD places a strong focus on mechanical talent is one of the most compelling reasons to play the game. In every level, players are required to execute jumps that are perfectly timed, navigate places that are tiny, and respond to obstacles that are evolving quickly. As a result of the fact that a single error is sufficient to terminate an effort, players are required to keep their whole attention on the situation from the very beginning of a level until the very conclusion.
